      STOLEN 69' Camaro

When I heard a friend of a friend had his camaro stolen this past weekend I figured this is the place to post a few photos, since you guys seem to know where every camaro is at on this planet. If you need any more info I can get it but if you see anything close to this camaro let me know. He lives in Virginia.

His email to me is below.

""I write to you this morning with a heavy heart. My beloved 1969 Camaro,
which many of you associated with me, is gone. It was stolen from the
hotel parking garage in Myrtle Beach where I was staying Thursday night.
We arrived in town around 11:30 PM, and unloaded and went to bed. The
next morning when we went to go to the car show we were there for, the
car was gone. You can imagine the feeling in my gut when I turned the
corner and saw the empty parking space."

Below is a link of a few pictures of the car.

Just got this email with more descriptive info.
"Here's a few more details- powerglide, 3.55 10 bolt posi, original mechanicals right down to the 2bbl and ex manifolds. Drums up front, PS, PB, originally daytona yellow with a medium green interior. Interior is dyed black with repro black vinyl seatcovers and headliner. Goodmark hood. Wood rim grant wheel that looks close to original. Good ID mark would be a quarter sized chip/dent in the left front edge of the hood. A sweet cruiser, and she'll be missed by all."

If that ever happened to me, I'd throw up. I can't even imagine....even though I'm far from it, I'll keep a look out....you never know.

I wonder if the guy thought enough to see if the hotel had video security in the parking garage? Did he have a "Club" on the car? I'm not saying a Club is going to stop a theif, but it's a deterent.

I hate to hear about somebody losing their pride and joy to a theif!

This is worse than steeling someones horse, and some places still have laws in effect to hang horse theives. The same treatment would eliminate auto theft.

Thats terrible. I hope he had it insured for the replacement value of the car at least.
