73-74 Nova, Apollo, Ventura subframe dimensions?

I am looking for a copy of the chassis sheet that shows the outline of a 73-74 X-body front subframe and dimensions for the mounting points. Can someone here that has one post it for me? I need to know if the 73-74 front subframe can be swapped with the 75-79 X-body front subframe. Thanks for the help, Randy

The 73-74 frames are the same platform as 68-72 X/F bodies The 75-79 X body frames are based off the 2nd gen camaro 70-81 frames. Hope this helps.

I used to think that too, but if you look at the subframe dimensions there are differences, and you cannot just bolt in the 2nd generation camaro/firebird subfame under a 75-79 X-body. Now the A-arms, spindles, and other suspension parts will interchange with the 70-81 Camaro/Firebird subframes, just not the subfame itself.
I have copies of the subframe dimensions for those (a 76 Camaro & a 76 Nova). I just wondered how close the mounting points were for the earlier 68-74 X-body subframes to the 75-79 versions. I know the 68-74 models were rear steer, and the 75-79 are front steer. I just need to look over the dimensions to find out for sure.
      Anybody have a diagram?

Cool! I was just going by what a 4th gen nova owner told me once. Thanks for the correction. Those are some good diagrams.

Those are my scans. Funny how things get around. I have the 3rd gen too if you need it.

JMarsa, please add the 3rd gen scan here. I picked the other two up here on the board awhile back on a thread I can no longer find. I am trying to help a guy out on the V8Buick website that wants to stick a 75-79 Skylark subframe under his 74 Apollo. I am not sure it will work, simply because the 68-74 X-body subframe is based off of the first generation F-body subframe (67-69), which is quite a bit different than the 2nd generation Camaro/Firebird unit (70-81). Any help with the dimensions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Randy

people have put second gen F body frames under first gen F bodies before- i think it's just a matter of reworking the body mount locations by the firewall.

How about a first gen? Do you have a drawing for those too? I'd really like to compare all three if possible.
