"Recession Deals"...post bargains you have seen or have bought

With the current rough economy, there seems to be a lot of good "bargains" out there at the moment. A lot of people are unloading their toys, projects, etc.

I have been looking for a "deal" for my next project to put away for when I get my '69 Bird done. I really wanted to do a 2nd Gen have been on the hunt for a '70-73 Camaro. After a lot of web hunting and driving to look at junk, I recently bought a '73 (nothing special 350 car) with 56K original miles and all of the original body panels with absolutely zero rust. It's a stripped roller (with all body panels and suspension) so everything is exposed. The car has been garaged since 1982 and I got it for $1,500. It was exactly what I was looking for as I want to choose the drive line, interior, and paint anyway, but did not want to get into heavy body work. I thought it was a good find.

What's everyone else been finding out there? Post up your good deals!

      Phil
