I had a 79 Hurst/Olds back in the day. It was a black & gold one. I miss that car. What color is yours? What kind of wheels are you looking to put on the car? Any mods done?

If you wanted to go low buck you could use 86-92 Trans Am WS6 16X8 mesh wheels. They come in grey, black, and gold too. They use different offsets for the front and rears, but you can get 245/50R16 up front and 255/50R16 for the rears. I have seen them on your body car and they look good. I thought it might be a low buck suggestion for you.

I have a set of Coys C67s on my '86 442. 17x8f and 17x9r. Fronts went on without a problem. Rears required a 1' bolt on spacer and I had to roll the quarter lip. They fit great except the inside of the front tires rub the back of the lower control arm when you crank the wheel all the way. The front sits a little lower than this now, I added a tall lower ball joint

Thanks, how'd you do that? I don't do well with images that I can't load from the website that I am at.
I am in St. Henry, about an hour northwest of Dayton.

From my experiences, a 17x8 with 4" BS in the rear with a 255/45ZR17 tire fits just right. I had the same 17x8 rim up front with a 245/45ZR17 tire and it would rub the inner part of the outer wheel well where the chrome trim bolts on.

Up front a I think a 17x8 with 4.5" BS and 245 tire would be just fine. Might be a bit close to hitting the sway bar in a tight parking lot but not a huge deal.
In the rear, I think the 4.5" BS will look to "sucked in" but should still work.

However, I don't know if the wheel wells have the same amount of room between the early A/G body and later G-body.

This is my Olds years ago with the 17's:
