Which video camera to buy ?

Does anybody have any advice on a good video camera to buy ??
      I've got an old VHS-C ( completely outdated )
I want to get something small , that can be mounted to a roll bar or cage for in-car footage.

Any suggestions on a camera, and a mount , and a tripod.. ????

That is a cool camera. I have that one and it works well. I think that's what Steven and James use as well.

Awesome little cameras. For a walk around video camera. The little Sony DSC cameras do killer video and take pictures. I use a little DSC T50 around the shop. not professional quality but fits in your pocket.

Kodak Zi6 is about $130 at Wal Mart. The Zi6 shoots 720p, is small, takes SD cards and shouldn't be too hard to mount. Heres a video shot with it to give you an idea of quality

All the MotiV8tr series was done with a DSC - T50. This is a older version of the new DSC T300 / 400s. i have one of them also, hate it. I bought a couple T50s (I kill them at the shop) off E bay, new a couple hundred. Perfect used only $100? Really nice cameras., and my favorite of the DSC - T series. No a T70 , T100, T300, T400 are NOT better.

Canon HV30. Compact, "older" model (relatively inexpensive), and records in HD.
