      disc brake kit

Hey guys i am new here and new to the car "restomod" thing. I have a 70 Cutlass S that i want switch from pwr drum to disc brakes. I have heard some people say 2" drop spindles are good and others say no so i am confused here. I want the lowered car look. I was on ebay and i just wondered what you guys think of this disc brake kit http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=34199 any help would be great! TIA

I know matts classic really sells alot of there kits. I would call em and ask about the 2" drop spindle though sometimes they can have clearance issues. and at 899 for the kit you may just want to look at some wilwood kits? Just a thought my front wilwood kits were about 200 less then that kit and its bigger, Good luck on your search

      Nice ride Shane
I would say if you are going to spend $900 on a kit go with a big Baer kit or Wilwood for about one or two more bills. I think there is better ways to lower the car without getting the drop spindles.
