      Project 67 Camaro

This is my 67 Camaro that i bought to build up. I've been trying to stay under 10k simply because i can't really afford to spend more money on it. Bought it before the economy went down so it cost me a lot of savings.
First are pics of what i started out with. When i bought it i was told that it was all original car with 327 and powerglide, when i started working on it found out that somebody swapped a motor out for a 69-70 350 with a set of double hump heads 10:1 compression and forged trw pistons. Trans originally was a manual and been swapped for a th350. One of the pistons turned out to be cracked so i pulled the motor for a rebuild. Then came the rust, the trunk floor is basically gone, the driver side back floor pan is gone as well, both rear qarters need to be replaced, which i will some day. Right now my goal was to kill all the rust that is there, get the car cleaned up and running and then worry about patch panels and such.

both doors were replaced, but i still need to paint the doors i got for it, i finally swapped front drum brakes for a set of wilwood disks but can't find a flex hose that will work with new calipers. Also instead of rebuilding the 350 i ended up with a 468 bbc, got a 525 lift cam, 781 heads and weiand 177. Now all i need is a 12 bolt rear and get my th350 built and i can say goodbye to my budget.

had some time today and sanded down the doors and the lower valance panel. Used some epoxy primer and now at least it's in one color.
Will clean up engine bay and install the motor next week. Oh and the doors do have few dents, mainly i'm trying to get all the rust out at this stage, and when i have her running i will start on fixing all the dents and stuff.

well, got the motor in and most of the front end as well. Front disk brakes are installed as well. Found 6" cowl hood that barely clears the motor at a decent price and deleted front bumper. Installed 5" Autometer tach and some new gauges. Got hurst ratchet shifter that i need to install as well. Took me forever to get the motor in as i first tried with sb mounts, and that was very tight fit so i ordered bb mounts and still had some issues because of solid motor mounts. Finally after 3 weeks i had the motor bolted in. While i had the fenders off i actually painted the tulip panels and installed heater delete plate which was cut out of old server case.
