Largest wheels on a 62 Nova

Hi I have a stock Chevy II Nova. It has 4 lugs. I want to keep the car stock but I would however, like wider wheels. Anyone got any suggestions? I was leaning towards some wheel vintiques steel wheels that filled the wells better. Thanks!

You will be limited with the 4 lug on wheel options. Budnik has some styles that will accommodate a 4 lug set up. 17s or 18s will work on your car. Tire choice is critical on the Chevy IIs.

We have a variety of designs that aren't based on the lug pattern and have drilled them for 4, 5, 6, and even 3 lug for Smart Cars and can make them in 17" for your Nova no problem.

Here's a few that can go in a variety of lug patterns. Call or drop a line anytime

That's between you and the Smart Car dealer but I don't exactly see hot chicks chasing down dudes with Smart Cars but having Rushforths on it couldn't hurt!

hey guys, thanks for the great replies. those wheels look awesome. maybe more so for my camaro. but on my nova i was thinking more about vintage style wheels. like minilites or just plain steel wheels. and 13"-14" wheels are about my ballpark. i was more concerned about the width of the wheels and tires that can fit under the car.

im not sure but do they make wide tires for 14" wheels?

any more info would be great. i would really like to give the nova a vintage racing look. but just through the wheels for now. thanks guys

Mini-Lites will look cool on there and you should be able to find some 4 lug ones for import vintage racers. I'm sure you can find more than enough 14" tire to fill Nova wheelwells. Good luck. Tell us what you find.

Hey!!! A 62 nova guy here, cool. I have a 62 nova. Im a lil far from stock but you should be able to get some wheels from Newstalgia wheel or American racing. The bolt patten is a lil off for the newer wheels. Some pics of the car would be good to see.. And dont forget steves nova site, great bunch of guys there. JR

Oh, and just going off the title " Largest wheels on a 62 Nova". I have 8" and 10" wheels if that helps...

The Wheels Smith in Santa Ana, CA is a good place to look at Steel wheels. We're a dealer for them, so we could help facilitate if you want to go that route. Let us know....

whoa, tons of great advice. thanks guys!

The minilites are a great option. They're out of my budget range for now though. I think I'm going to settle with the wheels I have now. They're in great condition except they are red. I also have another set that came with car that have brand new tires on. So for now I'll keep my eyes out open for some cheap used wide ones on craigslist.

I just realized that I'm supposed to be fixing the Camaro first - I just bought some stock buckets.

Here is a pic of my daily driver though.
