      back of fuse panel/block question

hi guys , on the firewall where the wiring harness plugs into the fuse panel there are 2 plugs and inbetween them there is a bolt. I want to unplug the wires so I can clean and sand down around the area. Does this bolt come into play? Or do the wires just pop off on there own?......any info will help, I don't want to mangle anything. Thanks.

The bolt holds the plugs to the fusebox. To remove the connector you must remove the bolt. Then, you can disconnect the two halves of the wiring harness connector.
One half is for the engine wiring, and the other is for lighting, wipers, etc.
