Maybe a stupid question
With an LSX motor... Can you use a "standard" muscle car transmission, like a muncie or tremec bolt pattern? I've always just seen them bolted to T56s or the like. Do you need an adapter? Thanks..

I know they make adaptors for TH350 and 400. I could only assume if you got the $$ someone will make it..
BUT WHY???
The T56 is the best way to go... Especially with an LSX you obviously are not worried about originality..

I guess you could say I'm one of those folks on a budget. I like to make the best of what I already have, and a T56 is nice, but it wont make my car any faster. My muncie does just fine and I'm trying to find out if I can reuse it without much headache, and save a ton of money. The 6.0L truck LQ9 is a very attractive way to make good power on a budget when my 383 is finally ready to be retired. Anybody know anything about adapters??? Thanks
