Wegner Motorsports Black Anodized LS Accessory Drive (Picture)

Thought I would post a picture of the subject accessory drive. It is model WAK014. They also offer it in polished finish. I chose to mount the power steering pump in the mid position rather than the optional lower position. Only issue I had during installation was the belt provided with the kit was just a bit too short (K6-682) and I had to replace it with a longer belt (K6-685). Pictures with part numbers in the installation instructions would have been nice but it was not difficult to figure out. Seemed like a really good deal for the price as compared to other kits on the market.

Casey Wegner was a pleasure to do business with. Now I need to get the engine in the car.

I like it in black. I might have to trade my natural finish setup in.

Is the price for pulleys and brackets only?

Looks like it relocates the A/C compressor. So you don't have to notch the frame with that kit?

Yes, stock subframe is no problem.

I got a special deal from Wegner last year when they had this kit listed on Ebay. I am not sure if they can still do them for that price so I didn't want to cause any hard feelings if the price has gone up. Best to contact Casey Wegner or one of their dealers for latest price. Sorry for all the confusion.

Curious if they will sell it without the accessories? Most of the stuff I have already. What compressor are they using? Sandan or factory GM?

Awesome, I might just get this then. Most kits that relocate the compressor have the ugliest mounting brackets and make the front of the engine look like crap.

I like it a lot! My only question would be if there is enough PS pump pulley surface being used by the belt? I know this can be an issue. Looks great though!!

Good question. I have the Stewart water pump so my belt is routed a little different. My guess is that it works. I know these guys and if it didn't work, they wouldn't sell it.

The kit allows for the PS pump to be mounted lower which increases the belt contact with PS pump pulley. You can see the different belt configuration in the Wegner CAD drawing attached. It also adds a pulley to allow for the belt routing. The kit came with everything including the longer belt and pulley needed for that setup. I was going to get the engine in the car (68 camaro) and look at the clearance to the stock subframe. I might move the PS pump down if there is room. Also, agree with the alt. fan needing to be blacked out.
