How to find your old car

Just as the title says. Anybody have luck finding their old car? Have the window sticker and curious if it made it out of the 80's alive. If it was salvagable I would consider trying contact the current owner. Any suggestions on what service or people that could be contacted? Don't know what State it would be in if it was still around. Thanks!

Your window sticker should have the VIN on it. Try your DMV.

Contacting the state BMV is the only way I know of also. Back when I tried it, they charged by the county.

BMV's are way more connected now, maybe you'll have better luck!

I wish I I had the VIN from a couple of my old cars, I too want to find out if they survived.
