Vortech V2 S-Trim on SBC.. need help!

      Hey guys,

like said I got a full Vortech V2 S-trim Supercharger Kit laying here. I bought it for my daily Mustang 3.8 V6 so it's a full kit for that Ford 3.8.
But I changed plans for the daily so first I just wanted to sell it.. but now it let me think about to put it on my 1979 Monte Carlo.

My Monte Carlo is still with the 5.0 and auto trans. I'm rebuilding the whole car from ground up and put some good & solid suspension and stuff..
anyways what do you think about that idea?

      Thats what I have:

what do you guys think what else I need? brackets and pulleys for the sbc? also which blow-through carb? where to buy these missing things?

      And this is my car:

Carb shop or CSU blow thru carb or Google a DIY conversion for your existing carb. SBC Vortec brackets. Crank pulley and maybe a smaller head unit pulley as your Monte Carlo is a 5.0 and the kit was for a 3.8. A new belt and you should be good to go provided the kit had an FMU.

I already emailed vortech about that - they said there's a "base-kit" (vortech part # 3GP218-030SQ) without a headunit for the SBC. But its about $1100..... I need some information what the base-kit includes - what parts in there. I can't find the parts list of the sbc base-kit.

A friend can laser cut a bracket for the HU. So I need information what else is in the base-kit..

Check with a good Vortech dealer, they usually can do way better pricing than Vortech direct. I like Michael at superchargers4less.com.
