Other doorhandles on my 79 Monte Carlo?

I'm looking for some other doorhandles for my 1979 Monte Carlo. I just don't like the 80's style of the stock doorhandles (it's not my car):





I don't want to shave the handles, I want to put some more "classic" to the car. I like the 1gen Camaro door handles but just don't know how they will look on the car. Also don't know how the mechanism of the Camaro's works. Anybody could help me with this?

I just saw anybody here putting some Jaguar handles on the Camaro. I also liked that idea....
