powder coating wheels?

Co-worker did his passat's wheels in black. He's using them for his winter rubber. With all the gravel, salt, and afore mentioned mounting they are still looking great. No chips or flakes. Guess it comes down to how good your powdercoater is and how good your tire shop is.
