Posting this for my buddy Erik since I shot some pics when I gave him a helping hand last week.
Introducing a overseas '68 Camaro located in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
Three years and counting body off restauration. A turbo-ed SBC, 6 speed manual, Moser rear end. Erik will post the details. All parts from Frank @ Prodigy.

Thanks Cliff for posting the pictures!!

I drove the car for 5 years before I started disambling it.
I was in shock off what came above. That's when I decided to go all the way.

It got a new trunk floor, rear frame, floores, tail panel. The subframe was very bad, it had rotten mounting holes.

Thanks guys, still a lot of work but no more welding and grinding. It's nice to put it all together now. Hope to have it on the wheels soon.

looks like some heat absorbing stuff.. for the welding... not to warp panels from heat.

Parts have to come over sea's, so it can take some time before they are here. Because of the shippingtime by boat (big parts), that takes 4 to 6 weeks, and if we have luck at the boarder. Otherwise it may stay there for a time. And you have to pay about 30% taxes.

Yes that is heat absorbing stuff.

Turbu system is a draw thru with a 2 pice intake manifold, at low rpm it works NA, at higher rpm it closes 2 valves and it is under boost, in the intake it hase a boost geard set at 9 psi.

Wow, that turbo set up looks crazy! Thanks for sending me the link.

This car defines "Crate Camaro" as I think we have sent you a Camaro in 10 crates, lol!

Everyone in ths states, you cannot imagine how difficult it is to do this in a country that does not even have a parts book with a listing for a Camaro! There is no NAPA, Classic Industries, or Prodigy Customs in Amsterdam.

Erik, your doing a great job. We have another crate coming your way soon. Lisa says we plan to come take a ride when it is finished.

      update Moser rear

After the rear got a POR15 treatment we decided to install the axles and Wilwood rear disc kit.

The Camaro will still have a staggered shock set up. To prevent any caliper-shock clearance problem Frank advised to rotate and flip the rotor bracket. To accomplice the same configuration as the passenger site we even got the bracket up one treaded hole in the backingplate.

      Looking nice....

The bottom prepared and will be finished in 2/3 weeks. After some paint we will put the body back on the subframe and rear/leafs.
