      i have a 355 sbc 450hp, th400 and i am purchasing a hughes performance 2000-2500rpm stall converter and i said to myself while im at it get a better flywheel! i was wondering what would be a good application? i am mostly going to do cruising but i also want it to perform when i need it to! any help is appreciated! thanks -dom

      A quality, SFI rated flexplate (flywheels = manual trans) would be a good choice. I would stick with a known brand name, since it is your life/legs/feet on the line.

      does a 168 tooth flexplate sound reasonable for my 355sbc 450hp,th400(auto) 2500rpm stall convert?? thaknks

      The 168 tooth flexplate will work fine. Just get a starter to match.
