      Backspacing Opinion

What's everyone think about a 18X9 up front with 4.7" of backspacing and a 18X11.5 with 6.8" backspacing. On a 69 Camaro, stock subrame.

Found some wheels that seem to be a sweet deal and might jump on them and sell my 18" CCW's.

Not even close. 9s are 1" to wide for the front, 11.5 is 1.5" to 2" to wide for the rear

Thanks Frank. I've got the car mini-tubbed so I know the rear is fine. It's the front I was worrying about. I'm running 18X8.5's up front with about a
5" backspacing so I was curious with that backspacing, if it would work. Maybe get some machined off would make them fit. It's a set of Iforged wheels for about $1700 brand new, which seem like a great deal.

This is the second person I have talked to about these wheels. The seller is in the business. They should know they wont fit. IF you could clear a 9 up front you would need 5.75 backspace, and then it would probably rub all the time on the inside.

The rear has a bit to much BS (for a stock rear) but that can be overcome with a spacer, maybe 1/2" or so.

Looks like I'll just stick with my 18" CCW's (like that's a bad thing haha). Love my CCW's but that wheel sure looks good also!!
