Camaro "staple" shifter in a 69 Nova - pics please!

So, I'm wondering if anybody has put a staple or horseshoe shifter in a Nova? I seem to recall seeing it done somewhere...

I've got a 4L60E trans, so I'd upgrade the detents and indicator lens, then mount everything in a custom console.

How does the shifter mount? Bolted to the trans tunnel? Pics would help a ton!

I'm currently shifting everything from the column, which is a challenge to find the right gear sometimes.

Camaro guys - feel free to post pics of how it mounts in your car!

That shifter does bolt to the trans tunnel. In camaros, there were threaded inserts for them (when equiped from the factory). I just used grade 8 bolts/nuts/lockwasher to mount mine. I will see if I get get some pictures of mine (even though is a camaro).
