I bought my 67 when I was 17 (1993) for 5200 bucks. When I went into the Marine Corps (1995), she went into a barn at my Stepfather's lake house...
I finally got her back 1.5 years ago when I bought my first house and actually had a garage to work in!

I purchased my 78 WS-6 Trans-Am new in the fall of 1977 and have had it ever since. I pulled the original 400 engine and stored it with all the original exhaust, etc. I have everything original for the car. I built a strong 469 Pontiac motor for it with all the good stuff and a full 3" exhaust. The car is all original other than that including the original paint. Car still looks like it just came off the showroom floor and interior still smells like a new car yet. Only has 17,000 original miles on it. Never driven in bad weather. Have also had my 69 Camaro for 12 years.

I bought my '73 Challenger in July 1983. It was my second car, first was a '66 Mustang with the sprint six and a three on the tree. Sold it buy the Challenger. It's the last piece of single life that I have left! Wedgehead and I must be married to sisters!

The Galaxie has been in the family for 44 years now.... My Dad grew up with it, and so did I. I learned to drive a straight drive in it (which means I could probably drive a tank/big rig). My father purchased it for $1 from my Grandfather when he graduated from college, and when I graduate in May, hopefully, he will sell it to me for $1. It is probably the only car that I will ever LOVE.... (LOVE, not make love TO)

      I've had the current '69 since 2003.
But I sure miss the first one I ever had.
      Wish I'd have kept it.
      I bought it in '83.
      That one was special..

My father gave me my first car, a '65 Mustang fastback as a $350.00 rust bucket in 1979. We spent a lot of time togther under that hood. That little car has seen me through high school, college, several jobs/homes/cities, the passing of my father and the end of my 20 year marriage. Many cars have come and gone, but that one will be with me forever.

I bought my '69 Skylark in 2004, this year makes it five years. I started the body-off resto last year, and hope to be driving it as soon as possible, I have plenty of parts and tools to complete it, but theres still much more to get. I've been through everything with this car, and other ones may come and go, but this one's with me to the end.

I've had my '85 S10 blazer since early '07, so this month makes two years. It's been good to me, but time to retire it to the shop and start tearing it apart for a much-needed rebuild.

The '92 S10 hasn't even been around a week yet, but I also don't plan on letting either S10 go any time soon.

I just wish I kept my '87 caprice!

      My projects:
1969 Buick Skylark- It's a mess right now. Worked 455/T56 on the way. Modern suspension for ride and handling. Ol' skool looks, new stuff hidden- "Fast with Class"

1985 Chevy S10 Blazer 4x4- Starting to make some progress- lifted, motor/trans swapped soon.

1986 Firebird- (friend's, but in my shop) Getting started- custom bodywork soon, LS1/T56, better suspension, fat tires all around... good stuff.

I have had my 67 camaro since 1977, my 68 camaro was bought new by my dad and is currently being gone through. I remember the day pop brought it home, he was trying to decide between it and a z28. He got the ss because the z had been around the dealership for quite a while and had been beat up on by all the sales guys. Some pics of me standing next to it in 69 are here.

1969 Chevelle (running and driving) at age 17 in 2000. 1969 Nova at age 18 (roller project). Now the Nova is my DD and my chevelle is nearing completion of its body off resto. I hope to be driving both by the end of this year.

I've had my Camaro for 14 years. All my other cars/Camaros were owned for less than 4 years...some less than 6 months. :(
