My 700R4 is toast
My custom built 700r4 purchased from Bow Tie Overdrives has lost 3rd and 4th gears. The trans has 300 miles on it, and yes the TV cable was set right. My first trip to the track and know its toast. Does any trans guys have any thoughts?

Which package did you get from BTO and what combo were you running?
03-09-2005 #3Claim it under warranty if you can. Shhhh....you absolutly were not at the track if BTO asks!!!

yeah, don't go to bow tie overdrives. You're not the first to have one go, and you probably won't be the last who they won't warranty for one reason or another. My dad went through two of their trans' before going to a local shop who in turn commented that he has gotten quite a few former BTO customers. That's my experience anyways.

Ditto... Need to know what youre running to get a guestimate of the hp/tq youre making as well as weight of the car. Running slicks/drag radials? What stall converter?
