In stock form, it's a pretty classic '60 European sportscar. I tried to photochop the PT into it... the big TTIIs, tangerine-strawberry paint, front spoiler, lowered, tinted windows, blacked out trim, shaved handles, etc... here is the original pic:

It's a German made Ford called an OSI (oh es eye, or ohsee) built in '67 & '68. The OSI company did the body design, Ford built 'em using German Capri bits (motor, some suspension stuff, etc.). Most parts are very difficult to locate since the car wasn't built in huge numbers. My father bought one while we were stationed in Germany in the early '80s for approximately $1800 US. It now sits in a barn in NC with an early Alfa Giulia, '65 GS convertible, '69 Fiat 124 Sport Coupe, and a nice '74 F100 shortbed pickup. They're all in need of restoration and the barn is a dirt floored, barely standing, shack that hasn't been opened in a good 5 years. One day they will be mine!

Technically it's my shortbed since my coin paid for it... I think it was $500... I can't quite remember. I think about it occasionally, especially since it's got my Mach's original 351W (future 408???) sitting in the bed.
