      Be Cool Universal radiator install

      Hey everyone!
I was looking for some advice on installing a universal radiator in my 68 camaro. I figure someone has done this without a welder before and was hoping to learn from someone else. I had trouble determining whichBeCool part # I would need, but they all seemed too expensive for a few pieces of aluminum. Is there an epoxy someone can recommend for aluminum to stick some brackets on the side? Thanks

Let me see how you did it!

      Thanks

1968 Camaro convertible. 383ci, 700R4, C5 13" brakes up front and C5 wheels all around. Oh! anda Hydroboost unit too!

I just sold my Becool radiator for a SBC, there is only 4 different part numbers and one depends on finish with polished or natural. The other 2 depends on type of transmission. I wouldn't recommend using epoxy on brackets on the universal. A radiator shop should be able to weld you some brackets for the universal radiator. Make sure the bracket has a step into it. That is the advantage of buying the direct fit. I remember my first radiator from the radiator shop. They just made some 90 degree brackets, that did't fit the core support.

Epoxy isn't the answer anywhere on your car. LOL Get some aluminum L brackets welded on and drill you own holes that line up with your original holes.
