I think he did 7's on 275s too
10-30-2008 #5Those guys are running M/T drag radials....15" sizes & mostly 315/60/15
I run the M&H drag radials now (295/45/17) and they work great.
I cruise around @ low boost (8psi / 700 RWHP) and they stick very well...i dont use 1st gear at all, but 2nd hooks very good & they will stay planted after that.

9.80 @ 141 w/ 1.88 60-ft..... on 17's
9.21 @ 153 w/ 1.45 60-ft..... on PUMP GAS
8.60 @ 164 w/ 1.46 60-ft..... on RACE GAS
10-30-2008 #6I think the 275/60/15 guys are running in the low 8's now.....dont think anyone has been 7s yet

10-31-2008 #7I noticed your times went up with race gas - I am assuming you either upped your boost and or increased your timing to pull half a second off your 1/4 time?

Racegas = more timing + more boost, same A/F ratio

11-09-2008 #11update - I love the tires. ran an 11.4 at 134 tonight even while messing up my 2 to 3 shift due to a hard transmission throw to that gear.
ran them at 16 psi.
very sticky.
I think I will stay with the hoosiers for now.
thanks for all the recommendations. I am hoping to land in the high 10;s when I get everything fully dialed in - including my pitiful driving ability - lol
02-07-2009 #12Dave Hance ran 6.93 @ 217 a couple of weekends ago.
