Th-350 Problem
I plan on going with a 2004r next year but I just had my th-350 rebuilt after loosing 2nd gear. Now it has 2nd gear but just barely. It shifts solid at part throttle but at WOT it slips badly! What could cause this? I have a new tranny cooler and a TCI 2500 rpm converter. The tranny cooler is actually an engine oil cooler and measures 21x7x1. Would this cause a low line pressure since the tubes are much bigger than an actual tranny cooler? BTW the rest of the car setup is 1974 Olds Omega with a 500 hp 455 Olds and 2.73 gears. Soon to be 3.42 gears.
