      6SPDRAT Update

I've been saving parts and pieces waiting for time to get them onto the car. I had modified a stock gas tank with a sump to get my conversion to a 496 fed until I could afford a stainless Rock Valley tank. Although I'm still running a Demon Carb at this point, I had a bung with a tube added for an FI return line (better to do it now before gas is put in the tank). With the sump I had nightmares about being rear ended and having fuel everywhere.

Tail lights and billet filler had to be done! Even though it's a 68 I really like the look of the 67 RS tail lights.

How did the gas cap work out for you. Any problems installing it? Good fitment? Does it come with the hardware?

I had a bit of misalignment between the tank filler and the back piece. I cut the tank filler neck and changed it's angle as well as the billet neck. I asked the others who have purchased if they had any issues and they said no. I'm sure it is just a 30 year old car out of place.

The filler is a great piece. All hardware included and a high quality product.
