      64 1/2 stang

I've been longing for 12 years to tear into this car...I still havent brought myself to selling it, I wanted to hear your guys opinions on the car before i go ahead and start digging into it. She's in immaculate shape and really only needed a paint job, it still have the 200 6cyl in it and all the numbers match but its got 212,000 miles and still runs like a top, starts everytime. If im gunna do it im gunning to drop a 351w (408 stroker) under the hood, the car weighs about 3050lbs as of right now without me in it, I'm getting renderings done of the car now to get an idea of what I want it to look like, prolly gunna paint it satin flat silver and opt for black rims A.K.A. project "Silver Snake". Whaddya guys think?

Yeah tough call, could be a better idea to put the original color on it and sell it, Then buy a solid roller body and go from there.

Nice project, I beat on a '64 1/2 Mustang through most of college - 200 (replaced the original 170), 3-speed, rust, & bondo.

      I loved that car!!

Well I will say that if it was a V-8 car it would pull more $. Right now with decent paint....maybe $8-10K?!?!?!?! But however you look at it cutting up a non matching roller is a better way to go to me.
