Rear Lower Control Arms, good idea?

      http://www.suicidedoors.com/node/1103

These LCA's are .25" thick. I think I can drill them OK for Sway bars? Would that support Sway bars or would I need more support, like a welded on angle?

I like the The super pivot joint, which should eliminate the binding that all poly. have.

These look like a really cheaper version Currectrac Rear Lower Control Arms

UMI LCA say: Constructed of boxed mild steel tubing, 0.120" wall and 0.188" thick mounting plates.

They say on their site that they can make custom arms, ask them to make a set with some tubing welded in 'em for a bar mount. Sounds like they would.

These are the ones I am looking at. They are a decent price and lighter weight. I also posted a thread about making your own that you might want to check out.

Will these work well on the street. I have read that you don't want to use these style of joint for an everyday style driving. I am start to gather pieces for my rear end and I am looking for various styles of control arms for the rear end. What is your opinion?
