OK, this is my first real car. Fell in love in 1978, and still have the car. This pic was taken circa 1993 (it's from a scanned pdf of a 3-1/2 x 5 photo. I was a late adopter on digital until pixel resolution improved)

OK, this has a true MacStrut front suspension, w. short lower track arms (These are not a-arms, more like the early falcon stuff, but much shorter.) The front swaybar is used to locate the track arm fore-aft.

Currently to get the ride height I want, I'm in sold stack w/ the front suspension. The strut is collapsed- the entire spring rate is in front tire pressure. In addition, the track arm is angled up as you go outboard, meaning low to no negative camber gain in roll. In addition, as a McStrut, the upper A arm is essentially the body tin. So basically, I'm kind of stuck here.

Short of going to a double A-arm suspension, any suggestions out there to help me out w/ negative camber gain in roll (assume I'm going to get a couple inches of jounce travel- I'm working on it.)



I have acouple ideas, but I want to present this as a blank slate so I don't influence any thought process,


By the way, currently has a carbed 2.8l V6. I'm putting a 4.0l Cologne from an explorer and a T5 in near term, and there's a aluminum headed 331 sbf in the machine shop.

I don't have any suggestions, but I sure like your car! you might want to do some web searching for European companies as these cars seem very popular over there. While your at it, pick up a Euro hood and grill, very cool looking!
