look to Swartz. I believe he has some turbo manifolds or headers that may work for you. Not having to fab those pieces helps out a great deal

Another alternative is Norris Motorsports. We made the turbo headers (and a lot more) for MotiV8r.

How much does a turbo setup cost vs. a supercharger?

If a stock lower end is used very mild boost levels should be used. In that case, a supercharger may be a less costly and more reliable setup.

And generate a *lot* less heat. Mike and I have talking about LS3s with MagnaChargers. 500+ rwhp all day long on a factory computer.

You can use a stock computer with a turbo. Did you guys ever come up with your turbo headers for the ls motor?

Behind Bars Racecars is working on one along with a tubular core support.

No big deal. I plan on having the car done around 2020...

JP, Will you do a single and a twin setup?

We actually did an LS1 single turbo for another customer last year, but the application was for an RX7, so it didn't apply to 1st gen F-bodies. Plus it was manifold (rather than header) based.

I expect we'll do a twin setup. Twins are actually easier but take more time since you need two of everything.

Unfortunately, no. The owner promised me some pics when he got it back from the next guy down the chain. But so far.. nothing. His check was good, so I'm trying to be happy with that.
