      Corvette Coil Cover installation question

I want to install a pair of Corvette Coil Covers on my F-Body LS-1.

I have a Lokar throttle cable attached to the factory throttle cable mount. Will this be a problem when installing the covers??

      Thanks

shouldn't be too bad. I know a lot of Fbody people put them on their cars. You may have to do a little trimming but that's no big deal.

Not to hijack, but how about GTO rail covers? Are they a pretty straight forward install as well?

I hope to see some responses in this thread as I plan to put some on my LS1 as well.

To use the Corvette covers on an F-body accessory drive some trimming of the LH cover may be needed. Also, the F-body coil pack frame bolts may not have the stud needed to mount the FRC.

The GTO covers should be a drop-on for F-body accessory drives since they are the same. However, the covers for LS1 are different for LS2, so order accordingly. Same for Corvette FRC's.

I modified GTO FRC's to fit. There were three major requirements for me. 1) They needed significant trimming to fit the Magnacharger fuel rail (not a problem for most), 2) Trim the LH FRC to clear the Magnacharger vacuum canister (ditto #1), and 3) relocation of the LH FRC mounting points. I did not like the mounting position of the LH side. It was too far back and exposed too much of the coil pack. The mounts can be carefully cut off with a razor knife and JB-weld'ed back on. If using a stock power steering reservoir it may not be possible to move the FRC forward.
