I hope you didn't have any cats or dogs outside that day. If you did, I'm sure they were tasty.

Yay for the endangered species list! That has to be some sought after footage right there. I'd send those pics to National Geographic. You could be looking at world famous pictures right there. Seriously. Send them to the discovery channel, Let the "
"planet earth" people know where they were taken, and the "sunrise earth" people too. Eagles are creatures of habit. They'll be back there again.

Funny, that reminds me of an article I read some time back where flocks of eagles were causing havoc in some town, pooping & so forth. Damn birds can't win!

Those are some great pictures. Takes me back to my years living in Juneau AK. We had a house out by the glacier that faced the glacier lake and the river that ran from it. On the point by the river (about 50 yards from the back of the house) was a 150 foot pine tree. During the salmon runs there would be literally hundreds of bald Eagles in the tree waiting to swoop down and pluck a 20lb fish from the river. So cool and majestic to watch.

When we would fish off Auk Bay and catch junk fish (puffers and blow fish) you would smack them on the head to stun or kill them and toss them back in the water. Since their air sacs were intact they would float. The Eagles in the trees on the shore would fly down and pluck them off the surface - 20 feet from the boat! Nature is so cool.....

If you even have an opportunity to see the last frontier - I highly suggest doing so.
