So guys, my GTOs tranny isnt playing right..

      Fellas.. does it sound shot?

The TH400 in it isnt new at all but i had some work done to it with the seals and such because it had a BAD leak.. after the work was done it was fine with no leaks.. been driving it daily for about a month.. not getting wild on it that much.. no burnouts.. shifts perfect.

Now when i put it into Drive it starts going at a snails pace.. SLOW.. even as i push the gas.. i put it into 1st gear and it goes moderately faster but it still is slow..

I put in fluids but still the same deal.. Reverse and other stuff is perfect and catches pretty hard.. just the drive..

Does it sound like its shot?

and if it is.. would it be better to rebuild or to buy a pro built one?
because it seems like a dice game to get these built and i JUST had it worked on.. last i need is to go through it again.

But there are lots of other ways to go. Sounds like you need to take it back where it was worked on and get them to fix it *right* this time. Clearly they messed something up.

Not much you can do on your own. Could be a lot of things. The only good external check is the shift linkage. You say it worked fine in the beginning, so it may have come loose over time causing the selector valve to land in between gears. Other than that, you don't be afraid to check with Bowler Transmissions. Mark and his crew are generally willing answering tech calls--even if there's no money in it.
