      Thanks y'all.
The air dam is a Glass,Choo Choo Customs.I've been holding onto it for 10 years. I think it's the only type that really compliments the obs.too bad you can't get them anymore...

Interesting. It almost looks like the bottom of a stock bumper cut off and flipped upside down. If you ever damage the fiberglass one you could just build one off of a factory bumper.

Dang! Toolman,Botman... Lots of familiar names on here.
I just want to say thanks to everyone and especially To the pro touring purest. I don't in any way compare my build to a pro touring machine. It's merely a parade vehicle compared to a precision built PT machine and I don't mean to invade this performance oriented site to claim any resemblence but rather offer a unique distraction.

      Thanks for your respectful tolerance.

      Truck looks great.
I like what you did with the steering, must really feel good and responsive. I wonder if I could do the same for my truck?

Jeff: thanks, its hard to be diff. ,these days, and look good doin it.
Trey: It'll be a while but I can do it. I gotta figure out what gears I want to bust loose the 31" ers.
Tig: Thanks,I dont see why you couldnt use a couple of u-joints and a longer DD. Its alot tighter of a feel than the oem plastic coupler.

I'd like to give it a try, not sure if it would mess with my airbag though. You know anything about that?
I contacted Borgeson about there shafts and they said they didnt get involved with my year (and other model years) because of the airbags.

I'm not one for trying to keep the oem safety features but the original shaft can be cut and fit w/a u-joint and another piece of DD shaft. Then just one more splined end u-joint at the box. Your airbag shouldn't be affected and should still respond in a collision.
