      Hotchkiss trouble???

Is anyone having trouble getting suspension parts from Hotchkiss? I have been waiting for a TVS kit, that I ordered from Prodigy Customs, for months. Frank assures me that the kit is coming but Hotchkiss tells him it will ship “tomorrow” every time he calls them. Is anyone else having this problem or is it just my great luck?

      Thanks
      Nick

I got all my hotchkis stuff from summit.
I have been calling Frank once a week for the last 5 weeks or so and it is the same deal everytime I talk to him. Frank got me a real good deal so I would hate to pay more just to get faster service. Call me cheap if you like but I like dealing with the smaller shops as opposed to bigger places. Gotta fight for the little guy...

Call Hotchkis direct and ask them if the kit is on backorder.. if it's not then call Frank

      Simple...

      Hi Guys,

In an effort to constantly innovate and provide our customers exactly what they want, we recently revised a few parts in the Chevelle and 2nd Gen Camaro product lines, including the introduction of new rear sway bars for both cars and a few other parts. As we switched the production line over from the previous designs to the new ones, it caused a small delay for a few specific applications. Things are back in full swing now and if you haven't received your parts yet, you should be getting them very soon. We appreciate the patience and know you'll be that much happier when the parts arrive.

Hotchkis is one of our best companies, and I do not think any thing was ever relayed to us that wasn't true, or intended to be true. I think they are at the mercy of subcontractors like the rest of us.

Without getting deep into our business, I can tell you we have sold somewhere around $30K in Hotchkis this year, and have had very few back orders that were more then a week or two. Considering the amount of orders, having a few long back orders is common with any manufacturer.

Hotchkis is one of the best companies we deal with and we always sell with confidence.

Nick is getting a free upgrade with the redesign. Nick, I will check on your order first thing Monday moring and get a statues on your order. If your order has not shipped, If you cannot wait, It will cost me money, but I will be happy to source this through a warehouse to fill your order.

      Nick,

I think at this point you have the attention of the manufacturer and the reseller.

I suggest you follow up with them directly.
