No, I haven't. I wonder if 68 or69 GTO headlamp doors would fit the bumper and grille? That would be cool.

I remeber seeing a picture of one some time back. I don't recall if it was on the firstgenfirebird site or maybe performance years.

The one I saw didn't have the chrome strip and just looked to plain to me.

I like the rendering. Maybe because it looks like the GTO with the painted enduro nose instead of the chrome.

I would think you could come up with a system if you cut up a hide-a-way system for a 68 GTO and used a 2nd pair of grils to cut out the covers.

A Grand Prix might be another option to try. I may give it some serious thought once I get back to work on my car. The GTO lights have some promise also.

That rendering is probably the best Firebird I have seen to date. I hope that car gets finished some day.

Just an idea but in the rendering it looks likea Camaro RS clip with the center cone added and modified grille. Camaro fenders are finished off at the edge Firebird fenders are capped off with the bumper surround. Would save a ton in engineering those lamps to work plus the scale is correct vs GTO stuff.
