Valve cover breathers with dry sump system

Any advice on what to use? I have heard no breathers to one on each side that is plumbed into the air cleaner.

Motor is a 377 Dart racing block with AR heads. Rev limit at 6500, used for track days and some street driving.

Steff's pan with 3 stage pump and single -16 return to a 8 quart tank.

      Ultima GTR.

      Thanks,

      Ken Wright

I'm going to go with no breathers and a vacuum pump. Did that make it more difficult for you?
Otherwise I'd do a breather on one side and the other side to a vacuum source (PCV under carb).

I'm at that stage, built my first dry sump engine, ran the tank vent hose back to my weber carb intake center which has a foam filled box underneath and a Moon type vent on top. I welded a hose nipple to the Moon vent and ran a hose from dry sump tank to it. so now my dry sump vents to the moon vent, there are holes under the vent to vent the engine valley. any overflow from the tank would automatically run back into the engine, so no catch can is needed.

Next step will be to try and pull some vaccum on the crankcase. I think it will reduce windage a lot and also reduce front and rear seal leakage.

I plan on putting vacuum release valves in from Moroso. I've heard to not pull too much vac on the crankcase or you will need to install oil squirters for the wrist pins.
