Hi from New Zealand
Brooklyn Boy in NZ from 1980. USN from 74-79 on USS Tang SS563 Sub. Met wife in Ca moved to NZ love it here. Two cars both 68 Firebirds
hardtop and contervible pro-tourer project. Am getting great info from you guys great site here is a pic of my project and one of my runner.
The rotersire was made using two eng. stands and off cut steel around shop one afternoon.

Stable as car has been transported on it. can post some picks if you want.
Also use pins supplyed with stand to lock.

hello great site , miss the new cars section .any members in the area of westchester ny? i have a 69 camaro , "lo tech" or "pro vintage". i didnt have cash for the billet/minitubbed/hitech look so i invented my own offshoot of protouring. i also have an 86 gsxr 1226 streetfighter and build a few car models , including a 1/12 scale camaro to mimic my fullsize car. (actually the model came first , i wanted to build a replica of the 69 i had years ago and building the model led to buying the fullsize car to go with it!) also i thought of building a protouring astro van but i hear there is one being built somewhere on this site allready.the photo of my car shows it as is but the car should be lowered in a week or so. thanks again , dirk .

oops i guess i posted in the wrong place . anyway bill68frbrd my mom was from brooklyn and i am in westchester by the tappan zee. i was trying to post in the welcome section but i tresspassed in your thread!! dirk.
