      Ok, let's spell this out. Labor day is September 7 in 2009. So the event is the weekend of 18th-20th?

      Jeff, If you're asking me, I hope so. Trapin was dropin hints at the Autorama dinner. I really wanted to do the Gingerman event (it's alot closer) but I have a family commitment.

      Looks like my LS3 swap will be done in time for this one. However, there is going to be a conflict with a Nashville open track event that weekend.

      Bill, can you confirm there will be some sort of open class (R-compound) award this year like had been discussed on HPT? I think the local folks would be content with just a plaque / trophy / t-shirt in lieu of free tires (given the way the economy is). We just need something for some braggin' rights.
