Different calipers for more wheel options?

I have ats spindles and cr rotors and calipers. I can not afford the wheels to fit over them. Im wondering if i can ditch the c5 calipers and get a diiferent style so i can clear torque thrust 2's with no spacer.

What about a Z51 brake setup (or is that what you have currently?)? That requires 0.835" between hub mating surface and inside of spoke.

How much interference do you have? Can you possibly grind the calipers?

NEVER... never clearence a caliper... you always clearence the wheel.

How much of a spacer do you need? I thought they would clear with something around 1/4 an inch. Check the last post in this thread:

I think Wilwood has a caliper that bolts on the ATX spindles that has less caliper offset. Maybe sell your TT2's and buy a wheel built to fit?

I dont have torque thrusts. Its just the cheapest nice looking wheel out there. I want fikse ARO's but i cant afford them. I was just hoping id be able to buy some TT II's for under $1500 and throw them on. I know there are a couple wheels to fit the c5 brakes for under 2 grand but they arent desirable to me. Id maybe get the V40 but i dont like the grey they come in. Not sure how it would look on my orange car (picture them on steve rupps car and thats what it would look like). Wheels have been the most stressful thing on my car. I dont even want TT II's cus they have been played out but i need something decent. I cant stand my rally's

My suggestion, DO NOT buy wheels you don't like. It's a waste of time and money. Your better off waiting if you can to buy what you really want, and if that is the Fikse's, then hold out. It will save you the money lost when you go to sell the TT2's you don't like and bought as a band aid to your problem. I only assumed you had tt2's because in your first post you mentioned them. Sorry.

Im just stuck because saving up for those wheels would take me sooo long. I dont understand how so many guys on here can buy wheels that expensive. It just kills me knowing i have c5 brakes and ATS spindles just sitting under my bed collectiing dust.

I agree with Jon. Save up and buy the wheels you want. Drive it like it is until you get enough money for the Fikse's. Wheels are a very big part of the cars appearance and the last thing you want is to be unsatisfied with the look every time you look at it. Buying a substitute will only satisfy you for a little while, at which point you'll be out the money is cost for the substitutes.

I just took a look on the driverz inc site and the Rushforth Fuel is looking pretty sweet. If those were under $2500 that could definetly be a possibility. But they look a little pricey.

You can buy the VWW wheels polished. I think they charge $60 per wheel. That would look similar to the TTII's.
