Need some thoughts on my 70 Camaro

I started my tear down on my new project this weekend and I have a few questions I need help with.

The wife and I recently bought a all original 70 RS Camaro from a junk yard in California. It has all the emissions stuff on it with the original charcoal canister and what nots. I dont have a use for these items but hate to throw them away. Are these something some one could use? Lines, gas tank, canisters etc.

The heater core was taken out of this car at some point and im wondering if I should go back with one. I see alot of cars that dont have them in place. I guess im looking for pro's and cons of removing it completely.

I'll have pictures of my progress up shortly. Plans are to use a aluminum headed small block and a Tremac 5 speed.
