      My first drive!!!...car is DONE

I posted this in a progress thread too, but not everyone goes in there. The car hasn't been tuned yet, and is spitting out black smoke as a result of an over RICH condition.......but I am proud as hell after a 2 year dream build...and I finally made past the damn sidewalk!!!

Your car looks and sounds awesome. Is that a supercharger I hear?

What was the cruiser (cop car) doing by the stop sign?

Was just going to ask if that was a blower, or gear drive I'm hearing?

I am getting that question alot since posting the video.....and I love that it keeps people guessing, but no... it's not a supercharger, or a gear drive. It is a toothed belt and pulley system, as is used on a supercharger or blower...from this guy http://www.blackmountainprecision.com/sb1.htm

I LOVE the sound it makes!!

looks and sounds great, I know the feeling I just finished mine late this summer and the first drive was so much fun. My chest was pounding and grin was a mile wide. I see the local law enforcement was there to witness your first ride. So much for doing that first burnout.
