Where does the Air Intake Temp Sensor go??

Does it matter where on the Air Intake it goes?
Before or after the Mass Air Sensor or does it matter?

Also can it be mounted upside down on the bottom of the intake tube so it is hidden??

      2002 F-Body LS1..

      Thanks

On a stock f-body, it goes before the maf in the airbox. I am not really sure if it would matter if it was after the maf, as some vehicles have it built into the maf. I can't see that it would matter if it was mounted to the bottom out of site.

doesn't matter. Put it where ever you want so long as it grabs good air. I would recommend it be as close to he inlet of the air intake as possible and not back by the engine. Literally, the thing is nothing but a temp sensor.

If you can put it close to the filter, I have even seen some small block chevy ram jet setups that have the filter on the throttle body place the air inlet temp sensor just near the filter, not even in the intake tube.
