      69 Camaro floor

Hi Looking for some help, I am going to remove and fit a new 1 peice floor, and I was wondering if this can be done on a rotisserie if I brace the car?

      Thanks
      Greg

I wouldnt try it on a rotisserie !

Either Build a jig mounting the body solid , or set on stands or block , get level and make sure its square then brace it up.

Put it on the rotisserie once its all welded up !

I have pictures if you need to see...

      Thanks 63SW

Sorry that is what I meant, brace it before and then put it on the rotisserie.

I don't think I'd put it on a rotisserie period with the floor out of it just my 2 cents...

NO , DONT TRY TO PUT IT ON A ROTISSERIE UNTIL ( AFTER ) you have the full floor welded in...
I guess i didnt word that correctly

Actually , i do all major panel installation before i put the car on the rotisserie.

Once everything is square , welded and solid , it goes on the spit and thats when you flip it and clean up all the welds and do finish work.

      Heres acouple pictures...
The firs is with all panels in place and it just went on the rotisserie, the second is after finish work and undercarriage is epoxied and shell in metal etching primer.

THIS IS THE SAME CAR ....John Cavins ,aka - JcGc on the site .
i did this for him last year and now the car has all the suspension on it , drive train complete and is ready to come back here for re-assembly , Body finishing and paint but not till spring because i have my convert to finish first.
