      Identifying imported goods

Not China or Taiwan bashing here, just passing along a little info from an email I received for those who care about where their money ultimately ends up.

“The bar Code will tell you If a product is from China.
It seems the whole world is scared of Chinese made goods.
Here’s how to differentiate which one is made in Taiwan or China...the

      first 3 digits of barcode.

This is our right to know, but the government and related departments
never educate the public, therefore we have to RESCUE ourselves.
Nowadays, Chinese businessmen know that consumers do not prefer products
"made in china", so they don't show in which country it is made.
However, you may now refer to the barcode, remember if the first 3digits
are 690-692, then it is made in China.”
