      subframe

A question popped up in my head here whats the weight of a standard subframe? I understand from reading a bit here that aftermarket subframes are lighter. So I wonder how did they do that? and how much weight difference is it.
I sometimes get crazy ideas like to get it made in Aluminium hehe
There is a norweagian company that makes lots of Aluminium parts for BMW here wonder if I could convince them to make me a frame
Or maybe this would be a business idea...OPS did I say that loud
