Need some help sourcing a GM part...

So long story short - we are scrambling to finish up the '67 and have run into a snag with - of all things - a silly little starter pigtail. It seems that at some point in the last couple of years GM stopped using the convenient stud and nut and went to a fixed pigtail for the starter trigger.

My issue is that there is not a single one in the entire country (Canada that is) and it will be a week to ten days to get one. But... we are shooting to have the car on a trailer and heading for warmer climates two weeks from today - which doesnt leave much room for error.

Is there anyone who works for or has a great in at a GM parts department that could see if they can source one and express it to me?

      The part number is 88988118.

Please PM me or Email">[email protected]"]Email me if you can help.

      Thanks, I appreciate it.

would a regular (and cheap) female flat connector work?
if not, there's always the junkyard option.

Nope on both counts - we are passing the time with a custom built alligator clip but it's not a permanent solution and unfortunately it is an LS7 Corvette part only - so unless your junkyards are better stocked than the ones around here...

Either way - thanks everybody for your help, I think that we have this one licked.
