I understand what you guys mean regarding the worries.

The funny thing is I don't worry when I dirve my Panoz the fun offsets the problems. To me it's just a car not a living creature or a piece of priceless art. If something happens I will get another one or something else.

Thanks for the replies I think I will go with the pro touring / resto mod I would love to have a 1st or 2nd gen vette. Might even go with an auto so the wife can drive it.

Check out www.twistmachine.com and look for the latest 4L60e Steve has developed together with Mark Bowler. You'll have the best of both worlds.

I think the difference here is a lot of guys have blood, sweat, and tears in their cars and concider them part of their family. To me a Panoz is just something anybody can get with just a loan. Don't take offense to this, I mean to not be rude. That is just my opinion. I can park the Contour ANYWHERE and not worry about it. I will only park the Mustang where it is highly visible and away from other cars. I even went through a lot of measures to prevent it from being broke into. I grew up in the city so I am always cautious to my surroundings but it is really not an issue for where I live now.
