Perry suggested looking to see if anyone sells a half inch ring that could be placed between the wheel center and the inner and outer rim sections. That would mean purchasing or having the ring machined and then buying longer bolts to put it all it together. Or, I just suck it up and send the rims back to Zach so he can do it. Decisions, decisions...

Yeah, we have gone through a few Kaizen events at my company. Some how very few things ever seem to improve...

This build however, is a whole different ball game. I've made some changes along the way and I'm sure there are more to come. The one caveat is the fact that with every change or improvement there are costs associated. As a lot of us know, the well only runs so deep.

join the crowd...i work for Kubota and they highly emphisize the "kaizen" approach to evrything we build or process we do...i hate it...constantly fixing what isn't broke is what they should say it means...japanese over-do and over-think everything...go sometimes but we as americans have been brought up to do things easier, cheaper, and faster...they strive for safety, quailty, and productivity...

Nope. I went with aluminized steel since I am planning on having them Jet Coated and possibly wrapped.

Here are some shots of the custom intercooler that was welded up this week along with the aluminium piping mock-up. The air filters will need to be turned in since they will interfere with the grill once installed. A small 90 following the lines of the end tanks should do the trick.

Stopped by the shop the other day and took some shots. Kaizen is finally rolling! I need to get a new set of front springs for the QA1s as they are too big and we cant get the car any lower in the front.

Also, got a glimpse of the coil covers before powder coating. They will be satin black. The plates on top will be painted the same color as the car and mount underneath the KAIZEN cutout.
