Having just made all the measurements for my GTO, I think a 255 can fit in the front. I have ordered 255/35R18 for the front of my car. The GTO is different from other Abodys in the front fender is like a letter C. It is narrower at the bottom of the fender. That being said I think a 255/45R18 will rub at the back of the front fender because of the diameter. The 245/45R17s on my car now rubbed with the stock suspension and just barely rub the back of the fender at full droop with the SCandC suspension.

The rears should fit but will require the right offset wheel. My stock (?) rear end is narrow and the stock Chevy rear is about 1 inch wider. So measure, measure measure. Note a disk conversion widens the rear a bit.

Get a Percy's Wheelwright and take measurements with the suspension in compression and droop and every way you can think of to see if they will rub.
